Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 is a combination of two of the most important baby items: infant car seats and strollers. It makes it easier to take public transport (and walk up and down stairs).
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat & stroller combo. It's the first integrated travel system that lets you to switch between the car seat and stroller in just a few seconds without disturbing your sleeping baby.
Simple to Use

Car seat and stroller combinations that are simple to use are essential for parents. These systems make it easy to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or taking a jog. They also aid in keeping up with your child's changing needs, so that you can enjoy your family adventures. These travel systems move smoothly and easily, regardless of whether they have a front wheel or two. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain Pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are simple to move. But even pram 2 in 1 and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved by one hand.
Some models are hard to attach or remove from the base, though. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attach process and straps that slide over the infant carrier's bottom portion. It may be tempting to skip these steps, however this could lead to unsafe results.
Some models are more difficult to fold and store than others, making them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and heavy frame. Some reviewers have also found the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. On the other hand it is the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is very simple to fold with just pulling a lever and a snap of an button. This model is also a great choice for parents who intend on using their car seat on other vehicles because it is able to be easily removed from the base and attached to any stroller that is standard.
Easy to Fold
Whether you're storing the car seat on its own or in the trunk of your car or even in the closet, it should be simple to fold and unfold. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily in one hand and are sturdy enough to use on long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen a few combinations that can only be attached or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to secure the car seat correctly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a fantastic option due to its sturdy construction and convenient features, such as a large storage bin that can be accessed from the front or back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo makes it simple to install a car seat by connecting the lower anchors and securing the straps.
It's also fairly light which makes it a great option for families and frequent travelers with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored highly in our tests of user-friendliness. Both come with a single front wheel that's easy to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a flexible swivel wheel, perfect for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift up when carrying a child in car seats.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combinations can be difficult to assemble. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to build, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together an easy task. Other models we looked at such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly simple to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier in the base, and then to remove it.
In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is a bit quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to remove the pieces. The toddler seat can be put together and removed with ease on most of these models.
